Adam Michener, President and Principal Engineer at Elucidate Engineering and Consulting has a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a mechanical specialty, from the Colorado School of Mines. He earned a master’s degree in automotive engineering, from Chalmers University of Technology. Adam is a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado, Wyoming, Louisiana, Idaho and Oklahoma and has established a professional record through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying Records Program, which includes most, if not all, of the materials needed to apply for comity licensure in additional states and territories. He holds full accreditation as a traffic accident reconstructionist through the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction. Since 2007, Adam has reconstructed over 600 motor vehicle crashes in the United States and has provided expert testimony numerous times in the areas of accident investigation and accident reconstruction in civil and criminal litigations. He has more than 650 hours of continuing education in accident investigation, accident reconstruction, engineering, and related fields. Some of Adam's research has been published through the Society of Automotive Engineers and presented at the SAE World Congress in Detroit, Michigan. Adam has provided accident investigation and reconstruction training to numerous entities.
